Bonsai for Beginners exists for one reason: most bonsai content online is written for people who already know what they're doing. It assumes you know what "nebari" means, what a "yamadori" is, or why your specific species needs a specific soil mix — before you've even kept a tree alive for a season.
This site starts earlier than that. It's built for someone who just bought their first bonsai (or is about to), doesn't know which questions to ask yet, and needs straight answers without wading through forum threads written for hobbyists ten years into the craft.
Who's behind this
This site is written and published by Md. Firozur Rahman. Every guide here is written to be checked against widely-accepted horticultural practice for the species and technique in question, and updated when something turns out to be incomplete or outdated — bonsai care advice that was standard ten years ago sometimes isn't anymore, and this site tries to keep up rather than repeat what everyone else already has.
What this site won't do
It won't tell you bonsai is easy — it isn't, especially in the first year. It won't repeat generic "water when the soil is dry" advice without explaining how to actually judge that. And it won't cover a topic just to have a page for every keyword; if a guide doesn't add something a beginner can't already find quickly elsewhere, it doesn't get published.
How this site is funded
Some links on this site are Amazon affiliate links — if you buy a recommended tool or tree through one of them, this site earns a small commission at no extra cost to you. Full details are on the affiliate disclosure page. Product recommendations are based on what's genuinely useful for a beginner, not on commission size.
